iMARKUP JOINS IBM PARTNER WORLD AS A COLLABORATIVE PORTLET PROVIDER

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – July 1, 2002 – iMarkup Solutions, (www.imarkup.com), a leading provider of web-based collaboration tools, today announced it has signed an agreement with IBM to make its Content Review and Document Review Server products available directly via IBM's WebSphere Portal. This announcement leverages iMarkup's technology and IBM's software for building next-generation portals, providing enterprises with a powerful platform for managing web content with content contribution, workflow approval and content publishing.

     IBM's WebSphere Portal allows companies to build their own custom portal Web site to serve the needs of their employees, business partners and customers. Users can sign-on to the portals and receive personalized Web pages providing access to the information, people, processes and applications they need. This personalized, single point of access reduces information overload and improves productivity.

     In joining software developers ranging from Adobe, Citrix and Documentum, to JD Edwards, SAP and Vignette, iMarkup adds its technology to the new collaborative capabilities of WebSphere Portal Version 4.1. The improved tools help users more easily connect to applications of their choice, while also extending the software choices available.
