iMARKUP ANNOUNCES IMPROVED AUDITING AND COMPLIANCE CAPABILITIES WITH DIGITAL SIGNATURE SUPPORT

Product Offers New Components To Ease Management of Compliance Requirements

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – August 1, 2005 – iMarkup Solutions, Inc., a leading provider of web-based collaboration and workflow solutions for digital content, announced the general availability of iMarkup Server v5.2. Developed to address the needs of business users working with electronic forms and digital content, the iMarkup Server provides a powerful and easy way to distribute, route, review and approve information throughout all stages of the workflow process. Version 5.2 includes a powerful new PDF component that can store snapshots of eForms, documents, and routing slips at any point in a workflow process. The workflow processes are supported by the iMarkup Server workflow engine which allows users to define both structured and ad hoc workflows to meet company-specific requirements.

     “In previous versions of our product we were able to successfully address the various compliance regulations with support for audit trails and electronic signatures,” stated John O’Brien, president and CEO of iMarkup Solutions. “Now we have taken this one step further by supporting digital signatures on approved documents and allowing a PDF snapshot to be created that includes a completed eForm and it's associated routing slip with an electronic signature for each user,” he concluded.

     As with all previous versions, during workflow, routing and approval cycles, all eForms and documents are stored securely on the iMarkup Server and accessible to all appropriate users. Historical information for previous workflows can be easily obtained using Knowledge Views™ to locate routing slips with the associated electronic signatures.
